HMTX Employees Volunteer at Habitat's 2026 Carter Work Project

Norwalk, CT, May 27, 2026-HMTX Industries’ Georgia-based employees were joined by employees from the Global HQ in Norwalk, Connecticut for a week of volunteering at Habitat for Humanity’s 2026 Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Work Project hosted by Atlanta Habitat for Humanity. From May 3 to 8, the HMTX team joined hundreds of others in southwest Atlanta to help build 24 homes in a single week at Langston Park, Atlanta Habitat’s newest planned community in the historic Sylvan Hills neighborhood.

In addition to supporting the volunteer effort, HMTX Industries donated 33,000 square feet of flooring from its Metroflor brand’s Inception Reserve collection of waterproof SPC flooring - enough flooring to completely floor 20+ homes in Langston Park. Inception Reserve was chosen not only for its style and durability, but the fast and easy installation of the product was a key feature in building 24 houses in a week’s time.
