HB Fuller to Sell Automotive Joint Venture

Minneapolis, MN, October 9, 2007--H.B. Fuller Co. said it has agreed to sell its automotive joint venture to its main venture partner EMS Chemie Holding AG for $80 million in a move to focus on other businesses.

 

The company said it had the joint venture with Switzerland's EMS Chemie since 1997. It said the sale was expected to generate a net gain to pretax income of $10 million to $13 million.

 

The North American portion of the venture employs about 150 people and generated net revenue of $74.5 million in the last 12 months.
