Hardwood Council Aids Selection Process

Pittsburgh, PA, June 9, 2010--The Hardwood Council aims to assist in the building materials selection process with a new reference document entitled, “How Selecting Materials Impacts Our Lives – What to Consider for Material Selection.”

The one-page reference document is available for download at hardwoodcouncil.com and is aimed at environmentally serious design professionals.

Among items in the report are information on carbon sequestration and general sustainability and how hardwood is manufactured.
