Hanley Wood Acquires Two Construction Magazines

Washington, DC, May 2, 2007--Hanley Wood has purchased the assets of Spiderweb Publishing Inc, a privately owned publishing company based in Durham, NC. The company publishes Eco-Structure and MetalMag two leading magazines in the commercial construction space, as well as the companion Web sites www.eco-structure.com and www.metalmag.com, media products that are positioned to inform readers about best construction practices and high-performance buildings.

The magazines will become part of Hanley Wood's Commercial Design Group, joining Architect. Architectural Lighting, and Product Spec Guide, under the direction of Group Publisher, Patrick J. Carroll.

 

Eco-Structure, published 8 times annually, was launched in 2003 and serves architects, interior designers, building owners and manufacturers/suppliers working in environmental building and surroundings. Its circulation of 27,508 is BPA audited.

 

Launched in 2000 and published 8 times each year, MetalMag is distributed to a BPA-audited circulation of 30,600 metal roofing and metal building contractors, roofing contractors, general contractors, architects, engineers, manufacturers and building owners/developers, erectors and suppliers.
