Hand–Woven Carpet Fair in Tehran Scheduled for Aug
Tehran, Iran, July 6--An international fair for Iranian hand-woven carpets is to be held in Tehran, said an official at the Iranian Carpet Company, news reports said.
The Thirteenth International Fair for Iran’s Hand–Woven Carpets will be held from August 22 – 28, 2004.
In a bid to prepare grounds for healthy competition between Iranian hand-woven producers of export carpets, the fair will be held in cooperation with the Union of the Exporters of Iran’s Hand-Woven Carpets, said on Tuesday, Mohammad Ali Karimi Managing Director of the company.
He also added that two carpet tours from the U.S. and Europe as well as customary visitors from Germany’s annual carpet exhibition would attend this exhibition.
