Hakatai Ranked 38th Best Small Company in Oregon

Ashland, OR, July 20, 2007--Hakatai Enterprises Inc., importer and distributor of glass mosaic tile, was voted as Oregon’s “38th Best Small Company to Work for” in the 2007 annual survey conducted by Oregon Business Magazine and overseen by the research firm Davis Hibbitts and Midghall.

Since 1995, Oregon Business Magazine has compiled the Top 100 Oregon companies to work for through confidential employee surveys in 50 different workplace categories and a benefits report completed by a company representative. In 2007, Hakatai ranked 38th out of 231 participating companies in the small business category. In order to participate, a company must employ at least 15 people and at least 40 percent of its employees must complete the survey. In this voluntary and free-of-charge survey, companies with fewer than 250 employees fall into the “small business” category.
