Green Standard Names Firth VP of Technology
Chapel Hill, NC, May 30, 2008--The Green Standard has named Paul Firth, former manager of sustainable strategies at Interface Inc., as vice president of technology.
Firth is responsible for the development and oversight of all programs and services for manufacturers including education, technology and training. The information he develops will focus in part on using life cycle assessment as a decision-making tool, which will help manufacturers respond effectively to increased market demand for facts about the economic, environmental and social justice impacts of a product.
To start, Firth will present a series of three seminars on ‘Using LCA for Everyday Business” on June 11 during NeoCon Chicago. Then, he will present on “Developing a Metrics Programs to Demonstrate ROI on Environmental Programs” on June 25 at the Green Manufacturing and Waste Reduction Conference in Boston.
