Calhoun, GA, Apr. 5--Internationally renowned architect Michael Graves has been on the forefront of architectural and interior design for 30 years.
His work extends far beyond the walls of hotels, theaters, museums, corporate buildings and private residences to embrace a wide variety of consumer products. Included in his most recent portfolio is a fresh collection of Wools of New Zealand Brand rugs from Glen Eden.
The collection includes 18 patterns, each embracing the richness of Graves’ experiences as an architect. “My rug designs for Glen Eden are a spirited aesthetic exercise in scale combined with the application of saturated colors and special tufting techniques,” explains Graves. “Whether it is a large floral such as Rose or a striking geometric such as Wagner, I designed these rugs to fit comfortably in any domestic setting.”
The collection’s versatility is accentuated by its custom options. All patterns are offered in custom-colors that can be matched from a sample or selected from a palette of 42 standard shades. Glen Eden can make the rugs in any shape or size, allowing them to grace all areas of the home, from the foyer to the stairs.
To accommodate retailers, Glen Eden has created a Michael Graves binder filled with patterns, suggested options and a complete color palette.
