Gerflor Gets “A” BRE Rating for Mipolam

Chicago, IL, November 7, 2007—Gerflor’s Mipolam vinyl products have been recognized by the Building Research Establishment Group – a research, consultancy, training, testing and certification organization – with an ‘A’ rating for its low environmental impact.

Reduced energy and water consumption are key features in the manufacturing process for Mipolam. No heavy materials are used and the use of volatile organic compounds is heavily restricted. All Gerflor products are 100% recyclable and are certified to the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System Standard, Gerflor said.

Mipolam is being marketed for heavy traffic areas in the education, healthcare, retail, leisure, corporate and industrial sectors.
