GelPro Mats Get Slip Resistance Certification

Austin, TX, March 7, 2011 -- GelPro, manufacturer of gel-filled comfort floor mats, said it received a certification from the National Floor Safety Institute for slip resistance.

“We are honored to be the first to receive the special NFSI certification,” said Robb McMahan, founder and CEO of GelPro.

According to the NFSI, every eight seconds someone is a victim of a slip-and-fall, increasing the importance of reliable flooring and instituting prevention measures.

The NFSI product certification allows product manufacturers to independently evaluate their products for wet slip resistance.

GelPro obtained the certification for its premium collection of mats that feature a 100% gel core as well as its GelPro Basics line that utilizes both gel and foam.
