Forest, VA, August 25 - Consistent with its corporate commitment to operate in an environmentally responsible manner, Gammapar, LLC has announced it has been certified to offer flooring products carrying the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) logo.
Products carrying the FSC logo ensure that the hardwood used to manufacture the product originated from well-managed forests, independently certified in accordance with the FSC rules.
The Forest Stewardship Council was founded in 1993 to establish international norms for forest management and to accredit and monitor certification organizations. FSC is an independent, not-for-profit organization with a diverse membership representing environmental, business and social interests globally.
Gammapar's Chain-of-Custody certification (SW-COC- 1039) was granted by SmartWood, a program of the Rainforest Alliance, and a recognized international certifier of sustainable forest management operations accredited by the FSC.
Architects and designers will now be able to specify FSC Certified materials from the full range of Gammapar's acrylic impregnated flooring lines, including the Jefferson, Olympia and Americana Collections, as well as the Exotics and GammaBammaBoo, plus the exciting new COR Collection. Each line is now 100% FSC-Certified.
