Carrollton, TX, June 16, 2006--Edson Gaidzinski, Jr. has been appointed CEO of Eliane Ceramic Tiles, Brazil's largest tile manufacturer and exporter.
For the past 12 years, he has directed the operations of Eliane North America, the firm's U.S. subsidiary. Gaidzinski studied economics and received a master’s degree in International Management from Thunderbird University.
Gaidzinski said, "I plan to bring a dynamic management style to the entire group. Maintain, improve and innovate are the three most important verbs I have learned during my career. We plan to maintain our position of leadership in the Brazilian market and distinguish ourselves on the world stage in terms of product quality. The company has to grow by investing in value-added products, and investing in factory production capacity."
