From The Forest Gets FSC Certification

Weston, WI, Feb. 26, 2009-- From The Forest said that its Weston plant, which specializes in private label manufacturing of engineered hardwood flooring, has recently been awarded FSC Chain-of-Custody certification under the Scientific Certification Systems (SCS) Forest Conservation Program.

“Our factory is committed to buying North American Hardwoods sourced within 100 miles of our facility," said Susan Lang, owner.

The Forest Stewardship Council promotes responsible management of the world’s forest through the development of voluntary, internationally recognized forest management standards and the most widely recognized forest certification program globally.
