Former WFI Employees Launch New Company

December 17, 2007--Brandywine International Hardwood LLC was launched on November 8 by several members of the former WFI, Inc.

Included on the new team are industry veterans John Himes, Mike Tucker, Andy Gallo and approximately 10 additional former WFI staff. William Jopling also plans on joining Brandywine after his official duties at WFI are concluded.

Brandywine’s focus will be in targeted product development, professional marketing collaboration, and providing distributors with products and programs.

Brandywine has acquired the exclusive rights to all brands, websites and trademarks of WFI Inc. These include the Wood Flooring International brand focused on residential, the Wood Floor Resource Group brand focused on commercial, as well as all other former WFI brands and programs including Wood Floor Exchange, COOL Flooring, Value Wood Flooring, Ecoflooring.com, Tesoro Woods, S4S Trading, WFI Global and WFI OEM. Also included were Bamtex and all product Collection names.

“What we have done is worked with all the former suppliers and former customers of WFI, Inc. to ensure that there will be no interruption in product continuity,” Himes said.
