Former Carriage Industries President Dies

Palms, SC, March 7, 2011 -- Stephen R. Dickinson, former president of Carriage Industries, died Feb. 28 in Mt. Pleasant, S.C.

He retired as president of Carriage Industries in 1994 and relocated from Georgia to the Isle of Palms, S.C.

He remained active as a board member with the Clarence E. Harris Foundation, which supports such causes as Habitat for Humanity, various school and museum initiatives, and organizations dedicated to supporting children with disabilities in the Georgia-Tennessee area.
