Formaldehyde Claims & Class Action Suit Leveled Against Floor & Decor

Atlanta, GA, January 5, 2016—On December 11, a class action lawsuit was filed in the Atlanta division of the Northern District of Georgia against Floor & Decor over alleged high levels of formaldehyde in its laminate flooring, according to legalnewsline.com.

The suit states that for at least the last four years, certain laminate flooring manufactured in China and sold by Floor & Decor has contained formaldehyde in excess of the levels allowed under California Air Resources Board regulations.

The formaldehyde levels pose health dangers to those associated with it, according to the suit.
