Forbo Names New CEO and New Chairman

Eglisau, Switzerland, Mar. 4--Swiss floor coverings maker Forbo Group has appointed This Schneider as its new chief executive with immediate effect, replacing Werner Kummer who will leave the company. Forbo also said long-serving chairman Karl Janjoeri will step down. The 69-year-old will be replaced by Willy Kissling, who is already a member of the board of directors. Forbo said the change was due to the unsatisfactory profit development of the last two years and the difficult market conditions. Schneider previously worked for Swiss food caterer Selecta Group.
