Forbo Holding Ups Stake in Rieter to 5.01 Percent

Winterthur, Switzerland, May 8, 2008--Forbo Holding AG has informed Rieter Holding Ltd that it currently holds 223,000 registered shares in Rieter or about 5.01 percent of outstanding shares.

According to the notification by Forbo Group the limit of 5 percent of the voting rights was exceeded on May 6.

Rieter Holding AG has been informed that Forbo Group acquired these shares with a long term perspective.
