Forbo AG Sees Net Income Rise 81% in 2007
Baar, Switzerland, March 18, 2008-- Forbo Holdings AG said full-year 2007 net profit increased 80.9 percent to $112 million.
Earnings before interest and tax rose 48.2 percent to $165 million, according to a press release.
Sales rose 6.6 percent to $2.03 billion. Company restructuring, investments in new markets, and a good economic environment helped the group boost sales.
Forbo sees slower growth this year but said it hopes new products and efficiency improvements will help offset the slower sales environment.
Forbo also said it plans to buy back up to 10 percent of its share capital in the next two to three years.
