Forbo Adds Capacity To Meet Marmoleum Demand

Hazleton, PA, Oct. 1, 2010--Forbo said it has added 60% capacity at its Kirkcaldy, Scotland facility in order to meet "the overwhelming demand" for its MCT and Marmoleum Dual Tile products.

Insufficient capacity, Forbo said, has resulted in longer than acceptable lead times to the market. 

In addition, Forbo said it will add another 50% capacity at the plant by next March, which will effectively more than double its global capacity.

Forbo said its Marmoleum has a global linoleum market share of over 60%.
