Linwood, PA, November 12--Foamex said it has named Thomas M. Hudgins to the company's board of directors, effective immediately. Hudgins will also serve on the board's audit committee. The company also said that Henry Tang has stepped down from the board.
Hudgins, 65, retired from Ernst & Young LLP in 2002. While with the firm, he held various senior management positions, including managing partner of the New York office and lead partner of the New York office's financial services practice, during which time he was coordinating partner for a number of major financial services clients, including American Express and Morgan Stanley.
