Florida Tile Expanding Workforce in Kentucky

Lexington, KY, Nov. 15, 2010 -- Florida Tile said it will expand its Kentucky work force by more than 25% by year-end.

The expansion will support the company’s manufacturing plant in Lawrenceburg, as well as its new corporate headquarters in Lexington.

"Despite economic conditions, it is clear that demand for the quality and leading-edge tile fashions produced by Florida Tile is driving this need for workers, despite our high level of automation,"  company President Michael Franceschelli said in a news release.
