Florida Flooring Retailer Gets Statewide Award

Pensacola, FL, July 14, 2009--Pensacola-based Floor City USA was named a top retailer in the state by the Florida Retail Federation.

Owner Dan Cash, a retired U.S. Navy master chief, was one of three recipients statewide of the award, presented late last month in Orlando.

The award honors select retailers for sound business practices, as well as their commitment to their communities, customers and employees.

"Dan and his staff at Floor City are very deserving of this honor," said Hope Allen, vice president of membership services at the Pensacola Bay Area Chamber of Commerce. "In five years, they've grown from 40 customers per month to nearly 300. Dan takes great care of his customers and the community."
