Flooring Knock-Off Artist Nabbed in Russia

Moscow, Russia, August 5--Russian police plan to deport a British man who has been selling counterfeit flooring materials to construction firms, the Interfax news agency said. In a release from the Russian Interior Ministry, authorities said the unidentified man had been producing and selling "knock-off" flooring materials labeled as high quality, internationally known brand names for at least six years. He was caught as part of a government review of several large construction firms, most of which are operated by non-Russians, the report said.
