Flooring America Names New Advisory Council Member
Manchester, NH, Dec. 13--Flooring America has named five new members to its Advisory Council. The five newly appointed council members are: Kelby Frederick of Flooring America of Denton in Denton, Texas; Dave Griggs of Dave Griggs' CarpetMAX in Columbia, Missouri; Lee Horwitz of A&M CarpetMAX in Fresno, California; Genie Shupe of Riteway Flooring America in Durango, Colorado; and David Turner of Flooring America and Home Décor in Nashville.
Each participant in the 17 member council serves a rotating three year term. The members are selected to maintain a balanced representation of all geographical areas of the country and sizes of store operations. They solicit suggestions and feedback from Flooring America's members/store owners, and then formulate member positions on everything from product line composition to display creation and marketing strategy. They review sales activity, marketing, and training programs, and are instrumental in the establishment of cooperative policy.
