Flooring America, Canada Expand Training Options
Manchester, NH, July 21, 2008—Flooring America and Flooring Canada members will soon have new training options.
“If you embrace training as a foundation of your business, your people will grow your business for you through their knowledge of sales, product and operational excellence,” said Jim Duff, president of Flooring Canada.
“So we’re ensuring that every member, no matter where they are located, has equal access to our excellent training programs.”
Among the new options will be online and webinar training programs.
“Research tells us that a diversified learning environment is the most effective,” said Vinnie Virga,president of Flooring America.
“So we are going to have regional training much like we did in the past, with an in-person instructor, and the Flooring America online university is going to have new and even more pertinent classes. Plus, webinars will deliver training right to the doorstep of every single member.”
In-store training offers four categories including Technology,
Product, Sales Professionals, and Management/PR. And new Online University courses will cover: Technical Installation Skills, OSHA Courses, At-Home Shopping, and the Customer-Centered Selling System.
In addition, 60-minute webinars will be offered to all. These topics will include Selling with Financing, Prospecting Loyalty, Coaching for Success, Closing with Confidence, and The Value of New Vinyl.
