Continued growth and production needs brought forth the necessity to relocate to an expanded warehouse/corporate office space. Swisstrax Interlocking Floor Tiles are now manufactured in the USA.
Swisstrax traces its origins and development back nearly fifteen years to Switzerland. The advanced system was developed by the Swiss and has been sold throughout Europe and Scandinavia for many years, with nearly 22 million square feet of floor tiles currently in use worldwide. Most of the floor tiles sold in the United States are manufactured in Southern California, so while it looks and sounds like an imported product, it’s really made domestically.
The manufacturing company, Swisstrax Inc., is headed by Randy Nelson, president. Sharing space in the headquarters building is the Southern California distribution company, Empire Swisstrax, owned by Mike Astle. The two companies have a joint venture project pending--a new showroom and distribution facility set to open in Scottsdale, Arizona. New branches are planned in Las Vegas and Southern California.
