Floor Covering Presidents Named to Committee
Philadelphia, PA, January 15, 2008 – Two flooring company presidents are the newest members of the International Labor-Management Committee for the Floor Covering Industry, part of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters.
The new members are Michael Gould, president of Gould Flooring Services Inc., of Highland, Ill. and Jamie Gilmore, president of Pavilion Floors in Boston, Mass.
Gould, a near four-decade veteran in the floor covering industry, opened his company in 1995. In addition to his work with the International Standards and Training Alliance (INSTALL), he also is president of the Flooring Industry Council of Greater St. Louis.
Gilmore has been in the floor covering business since 1985. He also is a member and director of the Northeast Flooring Contractors Association.
The International Labor-Management Committee for the Floor Covering Industry oversees an ongoing initiative to increase the quality and professionalism of floor covering installers through INSTALL.
