Floor Connection Is Under New Ownership

Arroyo Grande, California, February 14, 2022- Floor Connection, a commercial flooring contractor located in Arroyo Grande, California, is under new ownership. President Deborah Hart and vice president/operations manager Mike Pigeon recently acquired the company from retiring founders Jim and Lory Motter.

Pigeon has worked at Floor Connection since 2020 managing operations. He has 35 years of industry experience, with a focus on installation, project management and flooring technical services, and has strived to make Floor Connection the go-to commercial flooring company on California’s central coast.

Hart moved to California 10 years ago and Floor Connection has been her home for nine of those years. She started as controller before becoming president and now owner.

“Mike and I intend to move Floor Connection up to the next level," she says. "Having obtained our ceramic tile license, we have started a new division here at Floor Connection. We are excited about the year and years to come.”
