Flavin Named Vice Chair of CRI Marketing Issues

Dalton, GA, March 26, 2009--Patricia Flavin, senior vice president of marketing for Beaulieu of America, has been named vice chair for the marketing issues committee of the Carpet and Rug Institute.

The two-year position is a stepping stone to the eventual top post of the committee.

Flavin is the first woman to hold a chair position in the history of the non-profit trade association started in the mid-1970’s. CRI represents 95% of all carpet made in the United States.

Flavin was part of the team that introduced the Bliss brand for Beaulieu at Surfaces in 2008.
