Fire Investigated at Virginia Hardwood Flooring
Raleigh Fire Department Division Chief James Poole said a call came in shortly after 8 p.m. about a fire at Virginia Hardwood Flooring Inc., 335 Sherwee Drive, Raleigh, according to the News and Observer.
A worker reported seeing fire coming from the business when he arrived at Sherwee Drive Center about 8 p.m., Poole said.
No one was injured, but a bingo hall, two doors down in an adjoining building, was evacuated as a precaution, Poole said.
"It's just one of those things," Poole said. "We think it's an accident."
