Spokane, WA, August 8--A fire destroyed Warehouse Carpets in Spokane over the weekend. The two alarm fire broke out at about 1:00 a.m. Saturday morning, on East Trent.
The smoke and flames were so intense that firefighters had to back away from the business and defend the fire outside instead.
At least fifty customers will have to wait for their orders of new carpet and flooring that went up in smoke. The company is planning to open a new store in downtown Spokane next month.
