FCI Absorbs Carpet Network Franchises

Mt. Laurel, NJ, April 7, 2011 -- Traveling floor and window store Carpet Network of Medford said it has joined with Floor Coverings International, a franchised shop-at-home flooring retailer.

When Carpet Network closed early this year, Tom Wood, president and CEO of FCI, realized that many of its franchise owners could struggle without the support of their franchisor.

Wood decided to offer to convert Carpet Network businesses to FCI franchises.
