Faus Now Selling Directly to Specialty Retailers

Calhoun, GA, June 5, 2008--As of June 3, Faus has changed its distribution strategy and is going directly to the specialty retailers.

The company said that today’s economic conditions and the state of the industry have created an opportunity for a new business model that will allow the company to take its products, merchandising, and programs directly to retailers.

“Today’s economic conditions demand tough decisions and we feel this is the best way to service our existing and new customers in the future,” said President Juan Flores.

“Even in the tough economic times we continue to make large investments in our current product lines, our factories and we will continue to do so to keep our brand and products number one in the industry.”

Director of Sales Ken Freedman said the new strategy will allow the sales force to have a more personal relationship with customers and "and take destiny into our own hands.”

Faus said that customers will be able to order on-line, receive expert support through customer service department and get high quality customer service from its dedicated sales force.

Faus said it has 43 "new and exciting products" and a completely new merchandising system which it will roll out to dealers over the next few months. It now has a five price point system which covers the entire laminate category coupled
with Faus patented surface technologies.

“We now will be able to control our destiny and have speed to market,” said Steve Ehrlich, director of marketing.
