Faus Makes Key Management Appointments

Dalton, GA, January 4, 2006--Faus Group, Inc., has announced the appointed two key members of their management team. Juan Flores, president, has named Larry Duffie to the position of director of information technology and Derek Lovins to the position of vice president of manufacturing. Duffie has worked in the information systems area for more than 20 years, most recently as director of information technology for WhiTech Medical Solutions. His experience includes development and implementation of systems and procedures to streamline business activities. As part of his responsibilities, Duffie will be spearheading all communications projects for Faus’ new Calhoun-based operations, including computer systems and telecommunications. Lovins has 14 years experience in manufacturing, including production, quality control, problem-solving and policy and procedure development. Prior to joining Faus, he was with Shaw Industries as plant manager. As part of his responsibilities, Lovins will oversee the daily operations of manufacturing. Both Lovins and Duffie report directly to Flores. In addition, with the help of Tommy Curtis, director of human resources, Lovins has appointed Kenny Morton as plant engineer and Glenn Pair as warehouse manager. Morton will be responsible for overseeing maintenance and electrical work for the building and grounds. Pair will be responsible for overseeing the receiving and distribution of finished goods. “With these new appointments, we are making sure we have a good manufacturing team so we can continue to support our customers with strong logistics and information technology,” Flores said.
