Faus Group CEO Becomes Temporary Sales Manager

Calhoun, GA, Jan. 15, 2009--Faus Group has made two management changes in the wake of resignations at the company.

CEO Gonzalo Frey will oversee sales at Fausfloor and will temporarily replace Ken Freedman, who left the company to pursue other endeavors, while he looks for a permanent replacement. Frey worked for Finsa for more than 25 years, managing plants in Ireland and Spain and holding additional positions in both sales management and operations.

Jane Little has been named director of marketing, replacing Steve Ehrlich, who has also left the company. Little has been with Faus for seven years, holding a variety of positions, most recently as merchandising manager.

Ehrlich and Freedman were both hired in August of 2007, Ehrlich as director of product development and Freedman as director of Fausfloor sales. Both were previously at distributor Hoboken Floors.

The changes continue a management shift that included the resignation of President Juan Flores last November. Flores joined Juan Negre, Faus chairman, and a Spanish financial group in acquiring Faus Group in April of 2006. Flores was instrumental in breaking the Faus laminate floor brand into the U.S. market
