Ghant, NY, August 7, 2006--Fabulous Floors magazine has announced the makeover of its web site with a new and novel Internet presence promising to maximize reader traffic as it promotes its advertisers with links from the magazine to theirs.
According to publisher Sonna Calandrino, “Starting July 20, the web site for the consumer magazine Fabulous Floors got a whole new look plus greater reader accessibility to magazine content, links to advertising, merchandising, training and retail promotion products for the industry. For advertisers and past advertisers, we designed-in far greater exposure than they already get with the newsstand version of the magazine.”
Here’s what she said Internet visitors will find:
• All back issues from Winter ‘06 forward will be posted in their entirety. That includes every published ad, free of charge.
• Every ad can be “clicked-through” to bring readers to an advertiser’s site. Click on and click through to advertiser web sites is free.
According to Calandrino, this is another way Fabulous Floors is helping advertisers reach out for more customers and more money
“When you log on to www.fabulousfloorsmagazine.com, here’s what you’ll find,” she said.
Complete past issues posted in their entirety... every word of every page including every ad. “Starting with the Winter 06 and Spring 06 issues, every Fabulous Floors edition is now completely search-engine accessible, in a standard, easy-to-browse Internet format. Articles, photos, ads--everything--has been “tagged” and word-smithed by our webmaster for optimized web search-ability and access,” Calandrino added.
“Past issues, Summer 05 and Fall 05 will remain posted in pdf format for the time being,” she said. “As a free service to advertisers and past advertisers, we provide instant click-through to their websites by readers any of three ways. From our website, readers can reach out to advertisers directly from the ad itself via the web version of the magazine. They also can go our advertiser listings section an alphabetical listing of present and past advertisers by quarterly issue and find the name to click on, or they can check out the “Find Flooring Fast” section, a regular magazine feature and click on the advertiser name there,” says Calandrino.”

Calandrino said that this is just the start of the Fabulous Floors push into the world wide web. “By the time the Fall 06 issue of Fabulous Floors hits, there’ll be a lot more web content,” she concluded.
