Essex Inc. CEO Skalchunes Dies

Winston-Salem, NC, Sept. 25, 2009--Peter Jim Skalchunes, age 62, CEO of Essex Inc. of Winston-Salem, died Sept. 22.

Skalchunes was born in 1946 in Greensboro, N.C. and was a graduate of North Carolina State University.

Essex was established in 1994 and it produces tufting equipment for the carpet industry. Skalchunes was a resident of Clemmons, N.C. at the time of his death.
