Carrollton, TX, April 6--Eliane has recently boosted operations with the acquisition of new, state-of-the-art equipment that will expand its porcelain tile production to reach an estimated 75 million square feet annually.
In particular, production will be dedicated to the firm’s Neo Collection, Eliane’s third generation of glazed porcelain.
"Eliane’s new technologically advanced equipment not only increases porcelain tile production, but has also already generated 126 new jobs in the Santa Catarina, Brazil region," stated Edson Gaidzinski, Jr., president of Eliane Ceramic Tiles USA. "Investing nearly 5 million dollars in improving the firm’s quality product line, Eliane is meeting North American customer demand for porcelain materials."
Eliane, recognized ceramic tile producers since 1960, employs approximately 2300 people globally and has a strong distribution network across North America.
