Ed Zylger of W.F. Taylor Has Died
Palm Bay, FL, June 27, 2024-Ed Zylger, 88, of W.F. Taylor has died.
After receiving a purple heart for his service in the Korean War, Zylger went to work in the advertising department at Walter Selk Company. He was also actively involved in entertaining customers, especially at the Chicago Merchandise Mart.
He later became an independent sales agent for Ruberorid/Sandran, which became part of GAF Tile, and was named salesman of the year in 1967.
He then represented Taylor Industries in the upper mid-west U.S. and later the southeast U.S. His flooring adhesive sales broke records every year. He later represented W.F. Taylor for 20 years, selling adhesives. He retired in 2002.
