EcoTimber Plans Move to Larger Space
San Rafael, CA, April 28, 2008--Sustainable flooring company EcoTimber, recently acquired by a private equity firm, will move from San Rafael to a much larger 20,000 square foot site in Richmond.
The move comes as the company is growing and the industry is slowing. Demand for sustainable building products is growing, but overall flooring sales are down substantially.
EcoTimber has a five-year lease on the structure being built.
"We have so outgrown our existing space," said EcoTimber CEO Lewis Buchner.
