Economic Woes KO UK's Top Flooring Show

Birmingham, England, June 9, 2010--The National Floor Show, the top flooring show in the UK, has been canceled and will now co-locate with Interiors 2011 in January.

The show had been due to take place in September but has suffered due to the ongoing economic woes.

"Due to tough economic and industry conditions, and in consultation with the marketplace, we have decided to re-position National Floor Show within our portfolio's flagship event," said National Floor Show owner UBM portfolio director Andrew Vaughan.

"As experienced exhibition organisers, our focus has always been to deliver return on investment for our exhibitors, so we have decided to offer flooring companies the opportunity to exhibit at the UK's largest trade interiors show."

The show will now take place at the NEC in Birmingham from January 23-26.
