Earthquake Kills Two Italian Tile Plant Workers
Sant'Agostino Di Ferrara, Italy, May 24, 2012 -- The recent earthquake in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy this past weekend killed two workers at the Ceramica Sant'Agostino tile plant when the building collapsed early Sunday morning.
Nicholas Cavicchi and Leonardo Ansaloni died in the disaster. And the company's automated warehouse and monocottura production facility were left damaged.
Ceramica Sant'Agostino is a third-generation business.
