Dutch Company Embeds LED Lighting in Carpet

Amsterdam, The Netherlands, Jan. 5, 2011 -- Holland's Lama Concept has embedded LED lighting into carpet to create a customizable wayfinding system.

The lights are planted directly into the carpet and can be customized to assume any pattern or color.

The earliest version of the carpet debuted at the Paris Airshow in the business class of the Airbus A350.
