Dust Containment Systems Minimize Mess from Refini

Much of the mess associated with wood flooring installations and refinish jobs occurs during the sanding phase. Traditional wood flooring sanding systems send dust and debris into the air, while home heating and cooling systems spread it throughout the home. The result often is a fine layer of dust on everything, but new dust containment sanding systems can help minimize this mess. Many dust containment systems available today can eliminate up to 95% of the dust normally associated with job-site finished installations and refinish jobs.
How does it work? Most dust containment units include a vacuum system that is connected directly to the sanding machine or buffer. This vacuum system collects the dust and contains it in a sealed storage unit, keeping it from spreading throughout the home.
