DuPont Expands Antron Advisory Council

ATLANTA, GA, May 13—DuPont Textiles & Interiors (DTI) announced today the addition of seven new members to the DuPont Antron End-User Advisory Council. Formed in 2000, this voluntary 16 member, third party network provides unbiased feedback to DTI on business direction, marketing activities, advertising and communications, research and development, market research, positioning and other product and industry related input. New Council Members: ·Thomas Cooper: Cooper is the administrator of National Purchasing Agreements for Kaiser Permanente, National Facilities Services and has worked at Kaiser Permanente for 15 years. Tom is in charge of Kaiser Permanente's National Purchasing Agreement program, which includes 25 national contracts for contractor, furnished and installed building systems and materials. ·Boone Hellmann: Hellmann is the assistant vice chancellor for the Office of Facilities Design and Construction and the Campus Architect for the University of California at San Diego (USCD). Since 1987, he has overseen the implementation of almost $2 billion in capital improvements. He directs the operations of a 60 person office whose primary function is to administer the project management of capital improvement projects for both the campus and UCSD Medical Center. ·Mary Knuff: Knuff is responsible for virtually all day-to-day operations at the national headquarters of JCPenney as its building operations and planning manager. Prior to her current position, Knuff was a project manager in the JCPenney Construction Services Division and was responsible for all aspects of store construction and remodels in the eastern United States. She currently serves on the curriculum advisory committee for the Southern Methodist University’s facility management graduate program. Knuff is an active member of both the International Facility Managers Association and Building Operational Management Association. ·John Sebastinas: Sebastinas is director of facilities for Adminstaff in Kingwood, TX. Some of his Adminstaff highlights include the direction of the national development and operation of facilities for a NYSE, Fortune 500 company with approximately 40 district offices in 20 major markets. In addition, Sebastinas owns and operates three facilities of class “A” office space in Texas. ·Sheila Sheridan: Sheridan is director of facilities and services for the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. Honored as the distinguished member in 1995 by the International Facility Management Association, she also is a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management and the League of Women Voters. She is currently the chairman for the International Facility Management Association. ·Sanford Smith: Smith is the corporate manager of real estate and facilities for Toyota Motor Sales, USA. Sanford is a registered architect and attended California Polytechnic University where he graduated with honors in 1979.
