Midland MI, November 30, 2005--The Dow Latex business of The Dow Chemical Company announced today the debut of its new website, www.dowcarpetlatex.com, dedicated to meet the needs of the carpet industry.
The new website showcases Dow’s expanded portfolio of carpet latex solutions for commercial and residential applications, technical data sheets, as well as links to important industry resources. The website also features FOUNDATIONS™, Dow's line of high performance latexes that offer improved moisture barrier properties and also allow formulators to incorporate recycled content into the backing compound.
The use of recycled content in a carpet backing may earn points toward certification under the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Green Building Rating System.
