Midland MI, May 17, 2006--Effective June 12, 2006, the Dow Emulsion Polymers business will increase the prices of all styrene butadiene (S/B) latex products sold into the carpet industry by US $0.03 per dry pound.
It will also increase all acrylic latex products by US $0.05 per dry pound. Theses changes will be effective throughout the United States and Canada. The price increases are being driven by increased raw material, energy, and transportation costs. All other terms and conditions will remain the same.
