Domotex Asia/Chinafloor Begins Tuesday

Shanghai, China, March 26, 2012 -- Domotex Asia/Chinafloor begins March 27, with more than 1,100 exhibitors from 30 countries scheduled to show their products.

It's the world’s second largest floor covering show and it runs for three days. It's expected to draw more than 40,000 visitors.

Since the Chinese government has shifted its focus from an export oriented economy to domestic consumption, China is becoming one of the world’s most important flooring markets.

Show organizers say that China is already the second largest luxury market in the world and between 1,600 billion and 1,900 billion square meters of floor covering will be needed each year through 2025 to meet the needs caused by the urban migration in China.

The fastest growing segment of the show is the resilient/vinyl/LVT segment.
