Domotex Asia Prepares for Larger Attendance

Shanghai, China, Nov. 4, 2010 -- With more than five months to go, Domotex asia/Chinafloor's expanded 110,000 square meter exhibitor space is 75% sold, putting the event on track to exceed last year’s record breaking mark of 40,414 visitors and 1,000 exhibitors, organizers said.

The event takes place March 22-24 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) and is preceded by The World Flooring Forum on March 21, also in Shanghai. DACF is the largest floor covering show held in Asia and the second largest in the world.

"In reaction to last year’s unparalleled attendance and this year’s growing market demand, DACF increased floor space by nearly 13% for 2011," said Kitty Bai, DACF project manager.

A building boom in China is creating huge demand for flooring, which is helping boost attendance at the show, officials said.
